The Castle Keep Art Group was founded in Maynooth in 1998. The group get together on Wednesday nights from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Post Primary School Maynooth for a "meet and paint" session. The year commences in September and ends in May. At present we have 15 members.
The highlight of the year is the annual exhibition which takes place in the Post Primary School on the weekend after Easter. In recent years art works from senior cycle students in the school have been included in the exhibition.
The group gratefully acknowledges the continued support of the school over the years in facilitating the meeting room and the exhibition venue.
